Brownie Girl Scouts work together in groups, earn Brownie Girl Scout Try-Its and explore their community.

Friendship, fun, and age-appropriate activities begin at the Brownie Girl Scout meetings and move out to the community and wider world. Leaders partner with girls, giving them opportunities to make decisions about their activities and to learn leadership skills within the group.

Brownie Troop #516 is a third year troop made up of 2nd and 3rd graders. We are in the process of beginning to explore the wider world. This year we will be camping overnight at the Kennedy Space Center and will learn about our Space Program. We will also be going on our first outdoor overnight campout!!

In addition to our meetings and activities we take on projects to help the community. We recently gathered materials for comfort bags that were given to our local Red Cross Chapter. We have volunteered to decorate luminaries for the Cape Coral Relay for Life. We can also be seen marching in local parades.

For more information or to join our Brownie Troop #516, please contact Leader Dawn Salerno at 574-7438.
