The birth of the Student Leadership Team (SLT) has begun and is in full swing!!!!

Right now, we've been working on making our student ministries more "Environmentally Friendly." We hope we can start a new wave of environmentally conscience students ministries and churches.

Some examples of that are: our new 'recycling bin' and the use of paper plates & cups instead of plastic.

We will also be selling "Recyclable/Reusable - KIR Grocery Bags," as a fundraiser to help with the cost of summer GOTH (Get Out The House) Days.

What's Next:
We will be planning the "Youth/Graduation Service" at our meeting on May 18th.

We will also start planning for a "Back-to-School Bash" at our church in August.

The team allows Students to take part in the planning of events, lessons, curriculum, parties, etc.... The SLT will also be in charge of the set-up and take down of these events, as well as getting the word out!
