The organized unit of United Methodist Women is a community of women whose PURPOSE is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ – to develop a creative, supportive fellowship and
to expand concepts of mission through participation in the Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church.

United Methodist Women and Circle Members comprise the Unit Meetings. The UMW Unit Meetings consists of recommendations by the Executive Committee. We feel that these meetings educate and encourage us to fulfill all the commitments of the United Methodist Women's purpose.

The current programs feature 2-hour Mission Studies. The three topics for 2007-2008 are:

• Israel and Palestine
• Globalization, It's Impact on Our Lives
• Music and Mission
