To Equip the Saints for the Work of the Ministry

Serving in Jesus' name is a natural progression in the life of faith. We believe God uses us to share His love by reaching out and serving people in our community and the world beyond. It’s all a part of God using us to help transform His creation to be more like what He intended it to be. At Cape Coral First we encourage everyone to let the Holy Spirit guide them in this process. We believe that Spirit-driven, gift-based serving is one of the cores of the Christian walk. Please click on one of the links to the left for more information.

Volunteer Opportunites

Mission Trip to Costa Rica continuing Cape Coral First's ongoing relationship with UMVIM partner Charlie Strong Missions. Deliver HOPE Bags - On the third Saturday of each month, Cape Coral First partners with CCMI (Community Cooperative Ministries Inc.) to deliver groceries to the elerly. This great opportunity to bring hope to those who need it is a great way to get your feet wet in ministry. Interested? Serving Meals - at Central UMC in Ft. Myers on Wednesday evenings.
Habitat for Humanity - On the fourth Saturday of each month, Cape Coral First partners with Habitat for Humanity to build homes for deserving people in Lee County. Volunteer to work in our nursery! We need volunteers who enjoy children for both Sunday mornings and during the week. All volunteers must meet the requirements of our Child Protection Policy and submit themselves to a criminal background check. Interested?
